I am saddened at the news of the death of the wonderful
south african singer
Miriam Makeba
she passed after a concert sunday night in italy
I am honored that she had a pair of my earrings
she will live forever in my heart and in the hearts of millions

"whilst this great lady was alive she would say
'i will sing until the last day of my life' "
